I really haven't "blogged" in a long time and I thought it was time to start again!
What a fast summer this has been! My oldest son Christopher will be starting Kindergarten. We were going to enroll him in a private school but now after a lot of prayer and counsel we have decided to homeschool him. I must admit I have all the fears a parent can have...."Am I smart enough?", "will he learn at the right pace?", "can I homeschool with 2 younger siblings still at home too?". But the more I thought about it the more I realized its the right choice. I am a stay at home mom and I can give him plenty of individual time he wouldn't receive in a normal classroom setting. He will be safe and protected. And most importantly he will be taught with a Biblical point of view. I'm just praying for more courage and boldness with this decision. I've already had a few eye rolls and comments over this decision but bottom line is he is MY child and I feel this is what God would want for my family to do.
